The the Many Fruit Tree of much Life as literally translated from High Elven, or nir’Yave-Orn en’sai’Coia, or more commonly just “The Tree” stands to the west of town on top of a nice round hill in the middle of a public park in Haven often referred to by the locals as “The Green”, and bears various different fruits year round. The types of fruits change with the season, but there is always three to five different edible and delicious somethings hanging from its branches. Brought to Haven as a sapling by Carrick’s wife Elmindreda Diamonddew fifteen years ago, she worked her druidic magicks over a long weekend, and the sapling grew to over 50’ in height, and was littered with good thick branches for climbing. On the final day of that long weekend, after the tree was fully grown she used her magicks to dig a trench from the base of the tree, around the village, and to the river where she partitioned off a larger, deeper section right before connecting to the river south of The Black Isle. She then lined the entire thing with stone’s, with the help of some village folk, before calling up a massive spring of water from beneath the tree that gushed into the canal at the top of the hill in the center of “The Green”, flowed through the stone lined canal, and forming a huge swimming pool south of town with a waterfall into the river.
It is becoming rather posh in Haven to build your home along the western side of the canal in “New Haven”…though no one is allowed to build within 500ft of the this tree. Quite a few young folk built small homes alongside the canal when it was first built, and because of superior irrigation have quickly become dominant suppliers
